Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) took a shot at Vice President Kamala Harris on the tarmac after their planes touched down in Eau Claire, Wisconsin just minutes after each other on Wednesday.
Vance, the running mate for former President Donald Trump, and Harris are both hosting rallies in Wisconsin on Wednesday, and after walking over Air Force Two, he told reporters traveling with the vice president that it’s “hopefully it’s going to be my plane in a few months.”
“I also thought you guys may get lonely, because the vice president doesn’t answer questions from reporters,” he added, referencing the fact that Harris has yet to hold an official press conference or interview since jumping into the 2024 race.
Reporters on the tarmac noted that Vance and Harris did not actually speak.
