In the first 24 hours since Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was announced as Vice President Kamala Harris‘ running mate, the campaign raised $36 million dollars.
The campaign announced the fundraising haul the day after Harris and Walz campaigned together in Philadelphia for their first joint rally.
The Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue also raised more than $41.3 million through donors on Tuesday. It was their best fundraising day since July 21 and 22, when Biden dropped out of the 2024 race and endorsed Harris.
