Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former president Donald Trump met on Monday to discuss “national unity” after Trump survived an attempted assassination.
Kennedy and Trump met Monday during the Republican National Convention to talk about unifying the country, according to Kennedy’s campaign.
“Mr. Kennedy met with President Trump on Monday to discuss national unity, and he hopes to meet with leaders of the Democratic Party as well,” Kennedy Campaign press secretary Stefanie Spear told the Washington Examiner.
